Welcome to The Monkey Gallery DINING, a contemporary art gallery showcasing the art of dining through a gastronomic journey hosted by our 'Monkeys', Head Chef Tran Hau and Pastry Chef Hanh Le.
The Monkey Gallery DINING is one of the first fine dining restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, opening in 2019 with a passion to bring a new gastronomic destination with a Vietnamese soul to local and international diners.

Located on a small and calm street in the central business district (CBD), the restaurant was designed by the founders, inspired by contemporary Japanese and Australian materials, while retaining the existing structure of a Vietnam Indochina colonial house.

The dining room features an ultra-high ceiling with a central open kitchen that acts as the heart of the gallery, where our artists work on their imaginative creations. The 200m² area has 12 seats, 7 chef's table seats, and a Private Gallery, all designed for the best comfort to enjoy the chef’s creativity.

The Monkey Gallery DINING has received Michelin-selected awards for 2023 and 2024, the Best 50 Discovery award, and Tripadvisor’s Traveller Choice 2023.

Born and raised in Da Nang, a city embraced by the ocean, Chef Hau Tran’s fascination with the sea and Vietnamese cuisine has deeply influenced The Monkey Gallery DINING’s seasonal menus. His coastal roots inspire him to integrate the freshness and vibrancy of the sea into his culinary creations, bringing a touch of Da Nang to every dish. Over his years as Head Chef, his core vision has been to showcase Vietnamese ingredients, creating flavors that are both familiar and uniquely distinctive.

Chef Hau Tran's menu takes diners on a journey through Vietnam's rich culinary landscape, reimagined with his artistic flair. He seamlessly blends traditional flavors with modern techniques, crafting an unforgettable dining experience. His work has transformed The Monkey Gallery DINING into a gastronomic gallery where food and art coexist beautifully.
